Wrapping a fairing while it is bolted to the bike is how you get lifted edges six months later. We strip the bodywork, wrap each panel off the frame, and refit it. It takes two days longer and it does not peel.

The fast way to wrap is to lay film over the bike and trim it in place. That means a blade travelling across your clear coat. We cut on the bench, to a template, with the panel in our hands. Your paint never meets a knife, so whatever is under the film is exactly what you get back when it comes off.
How a job runs
Strip and photograph
Every panel comes off and every existing chip is shot before we touch anything, so there is no argument later about what was already there.
Bench wrap
Panels are cleaned, tacked, heat-formed and trimmed on the bench. Edges wrap around the back where you cannot see them and water cannot get under them.
Refit and torque
Back together to spec, fasteners torqued, and a walk around the bike with you before it leaves.

Questions
Will it come off cleanly?
On factory paint in good condition, yes. On resprayed panels it depends entirely on how well the respray was done, and we will tell you what we think before we start rather than after.
Can you wrap over damage?
We can, but film follows the surface underneath. A dent stays a dent, it just becomes a coloured dent. We would rather sort the panel first.
How far ahead do you book?
Usually three to four weeks. One bike is in the booth at a time, which is the whole reason the finish is what it is.
