We arrange
what was cut
this week

There is no standing catalogue here, because a catalogue means flying stems in to match a photograph taken in another season. You tell us the feeling and the budget. We use what the growers actually cut.

Order for this week

Peonies, ranunculus and garden roses with eucalyptus and fern, arranged in a pale glazed stoneware vase.

Photographs lie
about flowers

Order from a picture and you are ordering a thing that was arranged months ago, in another season, from stock flown in to make the image repeatable. We would rather show you what came in this morning and let you pick a mood. It arrives looking like it was picked, because it was.

How ordering works

01

Tell us the feeling

Soft and pale, or loud and structural. A colour to avoid. Whether it is an apology, a birthday, or a Tuesday.

02

We arrange from the bench

Made the morning it goes out, from what is genuinely good that day. You get a photo of the actual arrangement before it leaves.

03

One run, one window

Everything leaves together after lunch and arrives between two and six. One van, one loop, no stems sitting in a warehouse.

"I asked for something that looked like her garden in November and that is exactly what turned up."

Questions

Can I ask for a specific flower?

You can ask, and if it is in season and good that week you will get it. If it is not, we will tell you what we would use instead rather than importing it.

How late can I order for today?

Eleven in the morning. After that it goes on tomorrow's run, because there is only one van and it leaves after lunch.

Do you do weddings?

A few a season, and only with a conversation first. Seasonal buying and a fixed photograph from a mood board do not always survive contact with each other.

This week on the bench

Peonies while they last, ranunculus, garden roses and a lot of eucalyptus. Order by eleven for the same afternoon.
